    Thank you for posting this. I did not know. More important than the flag – liberty for all in the body and blood of Christ.

    If you ever get the chance to see Tom Hank’s HBO production “From the Earth to the Moon” series done in the 90s (he did it before he did “Band of Brothers”) this incident is depicted and Aldrin’s admiration of Lovell’s reading the Genesis passage as well.
