The most recent Top 20 list of most religious college/university campuses. An observation: Of the top 20, there are 4 public schools (if Univ. of Utah is public). They are:
- Texas A&M University (#13)
- US Air Force Academcy (#14)
- Auburn University (#19)
- University of Utah (#20)

My alma mater, Texas A&M has appeared on these sorts of lists before. I’m not suprised. Christian ministry on campus is strong.

annual incoming freshman “mindset list”
Beloit College has released its annual “Mindset List” that sketches truths about the world as incoming college freshmen have known it. Good reality check. Some highlights about the world that this year’s incoming freshman have inhabited are below, in no particular order. Check out the whole list here.
- Caller ID has always been available on phones
- WWW has never stood for World Wide Wrestling
- Gas stations have never fixed flats, but most serve cappuccino
- Sammy David Jr., Jim Henson, Ryan White, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Freddie Kruegger have always been dead
- Harry Potter could be a classmate, playing on their Quidditch team

campus ministry opportunity
A ministry that is very close to my heart is college campus ministry, in particular, United Methodist Wesley Foundation ministry. That’s where I received my call to ministry, where I grew more deeply in my relationship with God, and where I truly began practicing and offering leadership in the church.
