“Best 48 hours in Texas A&M basketball history” – Dick Vitale
My Texas Aggies are looking good. After taking down #6 Kansas in Lawrence (1st Big 12 South team to do so since the inception of the league), we turned around and beat #25 Texas in College Station by 18 last night. No letdown as they clearly separated themselves as leaders of the Big 12 regular season race. Ranked #6 by the AP and #7 by the coaches and playing like it now that we’ve got the first truly big win of the season against KU and then followed with a strong quality win against the Longhorns. Right now a #2 seed in the big dance is very realistic.
Last year’s win over Texas in College Station was sweet because they were #6 and we were unranked. But this year’s was sweeter because we were the top ten team, we should have won it, and we went out and got the job done. Living up to high expectations is more fun. Here’s hoping that we’ll continue setting high expectations and continue reaching them.
hey Guy,
since I can’t find your email address I’ll just pass this along here: Kimberly and I are expecting our first child in August!!
Hope everything is going great in Houston. What happened to Bookmining? I read ‘The Kite Runner’and then the site disappeared.
