fiction fridays

At one time on my blog I began writing a story about a boy and his dog. I’ve wanted to be more steady writing that than I have been (5 posts in a year and a half is pretty lame). That said, I’m ready to get going with it so I’m going to be introducing “fiction fridays” here at Gen-X Missional Wesleyan. Most fridays I’ll post an installment from one of two yarns I’m spinning.

The first is the one I mentioned above, “A Little Child Shall Lead,” about a boy and his dog who find themselves on an expected adventure in Pine Meadow one night. The first installment of this one will roll out in a week.

The second is “Rusty Price, Ministry Agent.” In a world of more seminarians and fewer clergy, one man steps up to lead us out of the chaos: Rusty Price, Ministry Agent. If there are agents for athletes, musicians, actors, speakers, CEOs, etc, then why not for pastors, parachurch leaders, and Christian non-profit workers? Uh…don’t answer that.

Here’s hoping we’ll both enjoy these stories.
